6th Grade on the prophets

Prophet- One who speaks the word and will of God before others to comfort or challenge. If you worship God and do what God wants you to do then you are doing what God has called you to do. Even if you are poor and not rich even though you have gone to jail if you asked God for forgiveness and then you devote your life and will to him you are and always were a child of God. In ancient prophets God told them if you don't repent of your sins I will destroy you. Remember long ago God called you the prophets to speak justice, mercy and truth. God is calling you, too!

The prophets said all this good but what happened to them? Well what happened to most of the prophets was they got kicked out of Jerusulem because of what they said God would do if they didn't turn back. Even Elijah had to live off of bread brought from crows. But God provided for him. What always seemed to happened was that the prophets told the Israelites to turn back to God. Then they didn't listen to them and so God punished them. Now just because the prophets always listen to God. The people who they were prophosising to treated them cruely. Even the prophet who told the great David that taking Bathsheba from her husband was wrong and David was furious. Now because of these great people we now have the church and Christianity there is today. Next time you hear about the prophets don't take what they did for granted without them you probably wouldn't't have the faith you have today.

Confirmation Blog! By the 7th grade girls!

This year's comfirmation class has been so much fun! Our favorite bible verse is John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave His only Son that whoever believed in him will never die but have eternal life!!!!!!! We love to chat about God and life during group work. We have so much fun! Every week we look forward to group work and confirmation in general.

Confirmatiion is soooooo fun!!!!!!!!

I have fun in confirmation because I'm with my friends and we can talk about our faith and share stuff about our faith.

Confirmation is a fun an exciting place to have a great time and to learn about God.
